It's a great idea for giving a small room some extra
space. Use it as a display area or even a cosy
window seat for reading on a rainy day.
The Bay Window is generally designed with a fixed
centre unit, but not always, and the flankers can be
either Casement or Hung (vertical sliding) style
windows on either a 30° or 45° angle.
The Bow Window is comprised of 5 or more Casement
or Hung windows mulled together to form the bow. The
bow, shown above right, shows a cottage style (offset)
Single Hung combination.
Factory mulling and one piece head and seat (if required)
give structural integrity and allow for easier installation.
As with all ROSS windows, design options are almost limitless.
