TOUGH AS STEEL & MADE TO LAST

1. Both steel door faces are 24 gauge, hot dipped
galvanized steel for rust and corrosion resistance
with factory applied primer and polytec white paint
finish. Steel faces are wrapped around top and
bottom edges and double wrapped around vertical
edges for rigidity.

2. Frame members are selected wood species,
kiln dried and finger jointed to minimize warping.

3. Flexible weatherstripping around the perimeter
of the door jamb ensures a tight seal to reduce
heat loss. Foam compression stripping is used
along the hinge side and magnetic stripping along
the other sides of the door.

4. The self draining aluminum and vinyl sill is
thermally broken to eliminate frost transfer.
Together with the adjustable bottom door
weatherstrip, this system provides a true barrier
against water and air infiltration.

5. Continuous wood perimeter provides a thermal
break between outside and inside surfaces to
eliminate frost and condensation.

6. The solid wood lock block provides
reinforcement in the critical lock area.

7. The solid polyurethane foam core is injected
and permanently bonded between the two steel
facings to fill every air space and provide outstanding
insulation and stability qualities.

8. Adjustable bottom self-draining weatherstrip and corner
seals provide a positive seal against air and water infiltration.
